AirBaltic, officially AS Air Baltic Corporation, is the national airline of Latvia, based at Riga International Airport in Mārupe Municipality, near Riga. The airline also operates from key hubs in Tallinn, Vilnius and Tampere. It is a joint-stock company with the Latvian government holding the majority share.
Currently airBaltic flies to 80 destinations across the Baltics, Russia, Europe, Caucasus, Middle East and Central Asia. In addition to scheduled flights the airline also operates charter services.

To increase connectivity airBaltic has codeshare agreements with:
Aegean Airlines, Air France, Air Malta, Austrian Airlines, Azerbaijan Airlines, Belavia, British Airways, Brussels Airlines, Cyprus Airways, Czech Airlines, Emirates, Etihad Airways, Georgian Airways, Iberia, Icelandair, ITA Airways, KLM, LOT Polish Airlines, Lufthansa, Scandinavian Airlines, TAP Air Portugal, TAROM, Ukraine International Airlines, Uzbekistan Airways.
The airline operates a 36 aircraft modern fleet.
Frequent Flyer Program – airBaltic Club
The airline rewards its loyal customers through airBaltic Club program where members earn pins and stamps on flights and get various benefits. The program has three tiers:
- Club Level
- Executive Level
- VIP Level
Before airBaltic had SAS EuroBonus program.
In-Flight Services
airBaltic has buy-on-board service where passengers can buy snacks, meals and drinks during the flight.
Flight Change and Cancellation Policy
You can change or cancel a booking depending on the fare type you chose: GREEN, GREEN plus, CLASSIC, BUSINESS, or BUSINESS light. Here’s a summary:
Flight Changes
- BUSINESS – Date/time changes are allowed anytime with no extra charge. If the new booking class is not available the fare difference applies.
- BUSINESS light – Changes are free if requested before departure; €50 per segment after departure. Fare difference applies if upgrading class.
- CLASSIC – Free date/time changes before scheduled departure. Fare difference applies if applicable.
- GREEN & GREEN plus – €50 change fee per one-way segment before scheduled departure. Fare difference applies if upgrading class.
Cancellations
- BUSINESS – Fully refundable within ticket validity.
- BUSINESS light – Non-refundable; only taxes can be refunded upon request.
- CLASSIC – Refund before departure: €50 per segment (cash) or €25 (voucher). No refund for no-show.
- GREEN & GREEN plus – Only taxes refundable unless cancellation option was added to booking.
Refund requests can be made online and refunds will be issued as a gift card or bank transfer
