Air France is the French national carrier with its head office in Tremblay-en-France. It’s part of the KLM Group and a founding member of the SkyTeam alliance. It flies to 36 destinations in France and 175 destinations in 78 countries.
The main international hub is Charles de Gaulle Airport and Orly Airport is the domestic hub.
Fleet
Air France has a mix of Airbus and Boeing for its widebody fleet and Airbus only for the narrowbody fleet. They will increase the use of A318 and A319 by 2024. The Concorde is retired due to high maintenance cost.
Cabin Classes
- La Première
La Première is Air France’s first class available on long-haul Boeing 777. The seats are leather and wood and recline into a 2m long bed. Each seat has a personal screen for interactive gaming and AVOD. Passengers get Merino wool blankets, personalized coat service, cushions and skincare products. Private lounges and chauffeur service to the aircraft are also included. - Business Class
Available on all long-haul flights, Business Class has angle lie-flat seats up to 2m. Each seat has a personal TV monitor, interactive gaming options, reading light, phone and laptop power ports. Meal service is a 3 course menu with cheese service and an express menu is served shortly after takeoff. - Premium Economy
Premium Economy is available on long-haul aircraft like Boeing 777 and Airbus A330. Passengers get double baggage allowance, priority services, lounge access (fee applies) and extra frequent flyer miles. Onboard amenities include noise-canceling headphones, amenity kit, extra blankets and enhanced meal service with real glassware and metal cutlery.
Seat Change Procedure
To change your seat follow these steps:
- Go to the Air France website.
- Click on “My Bookings”.
- Enter your booking reference and last name.
- Click “Search” to access your booking.
- Open the seat map to select your seat.
- Click “Change Seat” and confirm.
