Saudi Arabian Airlines (Saudia) is the national carrier of Saudi Arabia, established in 1945 and headquartered in Jeddah. Its primary hub is King Abdulaziz International Airport, and the airline operates flights to 127 destinations worldwide.

Baggage Policy

Cabin Baggage:

  • Domestic & International Routes:

    • Economy Class: One piece of cabin baggage up to 7 kg

    • Business & First Class: One piece of cabin baggage up to 9 kg

  • Maximum Dimensions: Cabin bags must not exceed 65 x 45 x 25 cm.

Checked Baggage:

  • Domestic Routes:

    • Economy Class: One piece up to 23 kg

    • Business & First Class: Two pieces, each not exceeding 32 kg

  • International Routes:

    • Economy Class: Two pieces, each up to 23 kg

    • Business & First Class: Two pieces, each not exceeding 32 kg

    • Elite or Elite Plus passengers: Additional baggage allowed up to 70 lbs (≈32 kg)

  • Size Limit: The combined dimensions (length + width + height) for any checked baggage must not exceed 158 cm for both domestic and international flights.

Check-In Options

Web Check-In:
Passengers with a confirmed e-ticket can check in online.

  • International Flights: Check-in opens 48 hours and closes 1.5 hours before departure.

  • Domestic Flights: Check-in closes one hour before departure.

Mobile Check-In:
Passengers can check in via mobile, select preferred seats, and receive a digital boarding pass. A printed boarding pass must be presented during security checks.
