Carry-On Baggage
- 10 kg maximum weight.
- Northern routes (e.g., Mayo, Inuvik, Dawson City, Old Crow):
- 1 carry-on bag only
- 38 x 22 x 28 cm maximum dimensions
- Southern routes (e.g., Vancouver, Ottawa, Calgary, Victoria, Edmonton, Kelowna, Yellowknife):
- 2 carry-on bags allowed.
- 54 x 22 x 38 cm maximum dimensions per bag.
- Carry-on bags must fit under the seat or in the overhead compartment.
Checked Baggage
- Southern routes:
- 2 bags maximum.
- 45 kg total weight.
- No single bag can be over 32 kg.
- Additional bags $30 + GST/PST/HST per piece.
- Northern routes:
- 2 bags maximum with combined weight not to exceed 20 kg.
- Additional baggage fees are by weight, not by piece.
- 4 bags maximum total including extra baggage.
- Excess baggage must be shipped as cargo.
Special Items
- Bicycles, kayaks, canoes, firearms and sports equipment must be checked as special baggage.
Baggage Transfer
- When flying from cities like Calgary, Vancouver, Edmonton, Yellowknife, Kelowna, Victoria or Ottawa to other Canadian destinations on the same day, baggage will be transferred via Air Canada according to the agreement between Air North and Air Canada.
