Cabin Baggage Allowance
Ethiopian Airlines allows you to carry the following cabin baggage:
- Business Class (Cloud Nine): Two pieces of hand luggage, each 7 kg.
- Economy Class: One piece of cabin baggage 7 kg.
The maximum size for each cabin bag is 55 x 40 x 23 cm. You can also carry:
- Handbag
- Laptop bag
- Overcoat
- Reading materials
- Infant’s food and basket
Checked Baggage Allowance
Checked baggage policy varies on domestic or international flights:
- Domestic Flights:
- Business Class (Cloud Nine): 1 piece 30 kg
- Economy Class: 1 piece 20 kg
- Maximum dimension: 158 cm (62 inches)
- International Flights:
- Business Class (Cloud Nine): 3 pieces, each 23 kg
- Economy Class: 2 pieces, each 23 kg
- Maximum dimension for each bag: 158 cm (62 inches)
Special Routes:
- For flights between the Middle East and other destinations (except DXB, CAI, USA, and Brazil):
- Business Class: 2 bags, each 32 kg
- Economy Class: 1 bag 40 kg
