KLM has different baggage allowances for Economy and Business Class passengers. The allowance depends on the class of travel and frequent flyer membership status.
Cabin Baggage Allowance
Economy Class:
- 1 cabin bag (max 55 x 35 x 25 cm, 115 cm total).
- 1 personal item (handbag, laptop bag or briefcase – max 40 x 30 x 15 cm).
- Total weight limit: 12 kg.
Business Class:
- 2 cabin bags, each max 55 x 35 x 25 cm.
- 1 personal item.
- Total weight limit: 18 kg.
Checked Baggage Allowance
Economy Class:
- Standard allowance: 1 checked bag up to 23 kg, max 158 cm (L + W + H).
- Frequent Flyer Benefit: Platinum, Elite Plus or Flying Blue Silver members can carry 2 bags, each up to 23 kg.
Business Class:
- Standard allowance: 2 checked bags, each up to 32 kg, max 158 cm.
- Frequent Flyer Benefit: Platinum, Elite Plus or Flying Blue Silver members can carry 1 extra bag (max 32 kg, 158 cm).
