General Baggage Allowance
Baggage entitlements vary by fare type and route. You can purchase extra baggage during the booking process. For more information, see Aeromexico’s extra baggage services page.
Carry-On Baggage
All passengers can bring:
- 1 standard carry-on bag
- 1 personal item (e.g., handbag, laptop bag)
Size Restrictions:
Each item must not exceed 55 cm x 40 cm x 25 cm (21.5 in x 15.7 in x 10 in).
Weight Limit:
Total weight for both items must not exceed 10 kg (22 lbs) for Basic and Main Cabin fares.
Clase Premier Passengers:
Allowed 18 kg (39 lbs) total weight across both items, within the same size limits.
Checked Baggage
All checked bags must not exceed 158 cm (62 in) in total dimensions (length + width + height). Oversized or excess baggage will incur extra fees.
Route-Based Checked Baggage Allowance
Domestic Flights (within Mexico):
- Basic Fare: No checked baggage
- Main Cabin: 1 bag up to 25 kg (55 lbs)
- Clase Premier: 2 bags up to 32 kg (70 lbs) each
Mexico ⇄ US/Canada:
- Main Cabin: No free baggage (optional purchase of 1 bag up to 23 kg / 50 lbs)
- Clase Premier: 2 bags, each up to 32 kg (70 lbs)
Mexico ⇄ Central America:
- Main Cabin: 1 bag up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
- Clase Premier: 2 bags, each up to 32 kg (70 lbs)
Mexico ⇄ South America:
- Main Cabin: 1 bag up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
- Clase Premier: 2 bags, each up to 32 kg (70 lbs)
Mexico ⇄ Europe:
- Basic Fare: No baggage
- Main Cabin: 1 bag up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
- Clase Premier: 2 bags, each up to 32 kg (70 lbs)
Mexico ⇄ Asia:
- Main Cabin: 2 bags up to 23 kg / 50 lbs each
- Clase Premier: 3 bags up to 32 kg / 70 lbs each
