Air North, Yukon’s Airline, is a Canadian carrier based in Whitehorse, Yukon. We operate scheduled passenger and cargo flights throughout Yukon, the Northwest Territories, British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario and charter flights across Canada and Alaska. Our main hub is Erik Nielsen Whitehorse International Airport. We also provide ground handling and fuel services to other airlines in Yukon, including Vancouver and Edmonton International Airports
Charter Services
Air North offers scheduled and chartered flights, used by mining, forestry, sports teams and cruise tours. Seasonal charters also fly to Las Vegas (Harry Reid Airport) and Victoria (Victoria International Airport). Our fleet size is 9 aircraft.
Cabin Classes
Air North has two fare classes on most routes, depending on availability. Infants 7 days to 2 years travel free when accompanied by a paying adult.
- Go Yukon Class – The most affordable option. If your travel dates are fixed, changes or cancellations are restricted.
- Optimum Class – Offers flexibility with lower fees for seat changes and cancellations. Complimentary seat selection included.
Seat Selection & Cancellations
- Seats can be selected through Air North or our booking assistance.
- Changes or cancellations up to 8 days before departure incur a fee of up to $100 CAD + tax per person; the remaining balance is issued as credit valid for 1 year.
- Changes or cancellations within 8 days result in a full forfeit of the ticket.
- Name changes incur a fee of $80 CAD + tax.
- Pre-selected seats are $15 + tax per person (available only on Boeing 737 routes).
- All bookings include a non-refundable Air Service Fee of up to $60 + GST per person.
- Flight schedules are subject to change and no-shows are not refundable.
