Hand Luggage
Lufthansa has different hand luggage allowances depending on the travel class:
- First Class & Business Class: 2 pieces of hand luggage
- Economy & Premium Economy: 1 piece of hand luggage
Hand luggage size limits:
55 cm x 40 cm x 23 cm (22 in x 16 in x 9 in)
Weight limit:
Up to 8 kg (18 lbs)
Hand luggage must fit in the overhead bin or under the seat in front of you.
Checked Luggage
- Economy Class: 1 piece up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
- Premium Economy: 2 pieces, each up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
- Business Class: 2 pieces, each up to 32 kg (70 lbs)
- First Class: 3 pieces, each up to 32 kg (70 lbs)
Special Allowances
- One pushchair or infant car seat can be taken free of charge.
- Passengers with disabilities can check in two wheelchairs or mobility aids at no extra cost.
